The Limited Edition Prints are drawn from Marie-Lou Desmeules’ living sculpture practice, in which bodies are transformed into constructed figures, public icons, archetypes, and invented characters. Each print preserves a transformation that existed only briefly. Once the performance disappeared, the image remained: a trace of the body as sculpture, costume, fiction, and social projection. Printed as archival giclée editions, each work is hand-signed and numbered by the artist. The prints retain the humor, excess, theatricality, and critical tension of the original transformations.
